We stumbled across this gem when on the hunt for famous Murray's pies and Goodfellow's ginger snaps in Perth. Yes we travelled all the way from Glasgow to Perth for food reasons alone. Our mission was unsuccessful as both places were shut on a Sunday...doh! Thankfully Lana's Cafe was fully open and tempted us in with an honest wee menu of all the choices you want on a Sunday morning.
I had the best Tuna and Cheese toastie of my life here. Seriously! It came with a simple side salad and coleslaw. My partner had a full cooked brekie and it was made to his requests perfectly, switching the black pud for another sausage, no butter on the toast and hard eggs. To wash it all down I also had the best cup of tea ever- strong and flavoursome with a dash of naughty indulgent blue milk *gasp*. The whole party at the table next to us ordered mac and cheese. It looked awesome and they obviously had insider information that it was darn tasty.
The service was quick and friendly and there are even some knitted baby clothes on sale at the till. What more could you ask for?
We now have another food reason to travel to Perth and we will definitely be going back! -

Omlettes were good. Salad was fresh. But not sure what kind of oil they use but it sat on me like a rock. Nice owners who provide good service and reasonable prices for their food. Basic fare.
